In under 24 hours I will have finished my 24 hour long law exam and will be free of university for three months!!!!!!!
So excited!!
Just have to get through this marathon of a cruel, stressful and sleep depriving task first - without spending too much time on vox/rorys book club/myspace/facebook/the sydney morning herald online!
Video: Show us a music video you'd gladly watch over and over again.
I've been really sick of all my music lately so I've gone to an effort to go out and find some good fresh stuff. At the moment I'm loving:

What is the best beer on planet Earth?
Submitted by Remmy Van Hornie.
While this isn't a specific brand of beer this is the way to get the best tasting beer ever!
- You get a mexican beer, the kind you put a lemon or a lime in like a Corona and you get a whole jalapeno.
- Take the jalapeno and cut little slits running along the side while still keeping it whole.
- Put the jalapeno into the beer bottle neck and push it down into the beer (it has to be a smallish jalapeno for this to work).
I love doing this it's so tasty. Maybe it's a bit more of a standard thing in other countries. When I was working at Lone Star (texan steakhouse, in Australia) some customers asked for it and I just couldn't wait to try it myself. The next time I was in a mexican restaurant I asked for them to do it for me and they looked at me like I was crazy but were really keen to know whether it was good or not :)
What shows are you looking forward to in the new fall TV season?
It's not fall here, it's Spring but there are a few new series on I'm looking forward to. They're all Australian though so it's likely most of you guys haven't heard of them.
The Chaser's War on Everything
The third series of this hilarious show started up last week, but unfortunately I missed it accidentally. These guys were in the news recently for pretending to be in a Canadian motorcade in the area of Sydney locked down for APEC. They were in three limos decked out in Canadian government flags and got past two checkpoints to end up right outside Bush's hotel. A security system costing billions of dollars was thwarted by a well-known group of comedians, one of whom was dressed up like Osama Bin Laden. Apparently they hadn't planned on getting through that far, were quite surprised when they did and then incredibly worried someone would accidentally shoot them. Here's a new bulletin on it:
And here's a segment from the show:
There's actually an American version being made of this satirical look at surburbia, but here's a promo from The Australian series that has just come back on our screens.
Summer Heights High
New series where this male comedian plays all the male roles including a female private girls high school student
I enjoyed Summer Crossing and I Think of You more than Reading Lolita in Tehran. I Think of You was very melancholic and culturally rich - each short story had some connection to Egypt. I would like to read Ahdaf Soueif's more well-known novel Map of Love after enjoying this collection of short stories so much
I bought this off ebay, it hasn't arrived yet but when it does I will be starting it straight away. As many of you guys know I absolutely adore Truman Capote, his writing is just so beautiful. Anyway this purchase will bring me closer to my aim of owning and having read every Capote book. :)
Yes so not so many purchases this month, as usual I have spent nearly all my money on clothes and going out. I'm going to have to cut down on my expenses or my trip to Japan at the end of the year may be endangered :(
